Applicants must:
Be a resident of Suffolk County, Massachusetts
Have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher
Attend or have been accepted to attend a 4-year university, community college, or master’s degree program
Be pursuing a degree in education (or a related field)
Submit an application by the deadline of March 1, 2027

Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of:
Passion for teaching, with preference given to students particularly focused on primary school
Enthusiasm about STEM learning
Dedication to equity for women and girls
Academic performance
Demonstrated leadership and participation in school

Applicants must submit:
A one-page career statement describing why you plan to pursue a career in education and how you define "success" when you think about your future career in teaching. Feel free to discuss inspiration from teachers you have had throughout your education.
A one-paragraph response to what this quote means to you and how it relates to your vision as a teacher: “Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow” - Anthony D’Angelo
Optional responses:
A short response describing how you champion equity for women and girls.
A short description of your field of interest/subject you wish to teach.

All applicants will be notified of their status by April 1, 2027.
Communication will occur through the email address/mobile number applicants provide in their applications. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as scholarship recipients.
Awards will be made payable to the institution for the student.
